I have been in love with the medical field since I was a sophomore in high school. I went to Collin College for my Associate’s in Nursing in 2010 before passing my NCLEX in 2012. While working as a bedside nurse, I went back to school to complete a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2013. I decided to go back to school in 2017 for my Master’s degree from UTA and completed it in the height of the COVID epidemic.
I have also spent the past 12 years working part-time as a Simulation Instructor at Collin College, where I help students within all of the health science departments practice and develop their patient care skills.
Outside of work, I am a proud mom to two kids, ages 10 and 8. I enjoy camping and traveling with my husband and kids during our downtime. I am a huge animal lover and have three dogs and a cat at home.
